March Recap: Dashboard UI Fixes and Enhancements
Hello, everyone! Welcome to HelpDesk’s latest updates! On March 29, 2026 we worked on multiple UI improvements and fixes across dashboard blocks to enhance consistency, alignment, and overall user experience.
This release, we’re bringing you multiple UI fixes and enhancements across the dashboard:
-
- ILT/VILT Training Report Block Fixes
- My Courses Block UI Fix
- Team Overview Block Search Icon Fix
- Dashboard Add Block Popup UI Fix
- Tooltip Style Consistency Enhancement
- Team Progress Block UI Text Fix
- Learning Path Block Fixes
Let’s take a closer look at these.
1. ILT/VILT Training Report Block – Fixes:
- We’ve improved the ILT/VILT Training Report block to deliver a more consistent and user-friendly experience.
- The pagination bar is now fixed (sticky) at the bottom of the block, ensuring it remains in place regardless of the amount of data displayed. Additionally, the pagination bar is hidden when only a single page is available, reducing unnecessary UI elements.
- When no members are added, the statistics section will no longer display zero values. Instead, a standardized empty state message is shown, aligned with other dashboard blocks.
- These changes result in a cleaner interface and improved usability across the dashboard.
2. My Courses Block – UI Fix:
- The My Courses block has been refined to improve layout and presentation.
- Previously, course cards appeared misaligned and visually inconsistent. This has now been corrected, ensuring proper spacing and structured display.
- The updated layout provides better clarity and a more consistent viewing experience.
3. Team Overview Block – Search Icon Overlap Fix:
- We’ve addressed UI issues in the Team Overview block related to the search functionality.
- The overlap between the search cancel (close) icon and the three-dot (more options) icon has been resolved. The positioning of the search cancel icon has also been adjusted to prevent overlap with the block border.
- These improvements apply to both states—when Customize Dashboard is enabled and disabled—ensuring a consistent and clean layout.
4. Dashboard Add Block Popup – UI Fix:
- The Add Block popup has been improved for better usability.
- Previously, the selected block text became invisible when the cursor moved away. This issue has now been fixed, and text visibility is maintained consistently.
- Hover behavior has also been corrected, ensuring a smoother and more reliable interaction when selecting blocks.
5. Tooltip Style Inconsistency Across Blocks – Fix:
- Tooltip styling has been standardized across all dashboard blocks and key stats cards.
- Earlier inconsistencies in tooltip appearance have been resolved, and a unified style is now applied throughout the dashboard.
- This update enhances visual consistency and provides a more cohesive user experience.
6. Team Progress Block – UI Fix:
- We’ve corrected a text labeling issue in the Team Progress block.
- The label “In Courses Progress” has been updated to “In Progress Courses” for better clarity and proper wording.
- This ensures consistency in terminology across the dashboard.
7. Learning Path Block – Fix:
- Several improvements have been made to the Learning Path block.
- Pagination has been updated to match the standard style used across other dashboard blocks, ensuring a consistent look and feel.
- Non-functional up and down arrows in the header have been removed to avoid confusion. Additionally, tooltips now display the full course name without truncation, improving readability.
- These updates enhance both usability and visual consistency.
Summary:
-
- This release focuses on refining the dashboard experience through UI improvements and consistency enhancements.
- We’ve addressed pagination behavior, alignment issues, tooltip styling, and text inconsistencies across multiple blocks. Empty state handling has also been improved to provide a cleaner interface.
- Overall, these changes result in a more polished, consistent, and user-friendly dashboard experience.
